Inspired by Daniel Shiffman’s checkbox mirror, I decided to make something similar that has some weird/cool way representing the brightness of a pixel. This idea came from a very interesting feature in Chinese. Some character may be composed of similar elements and looks like a reduplication of other characters. Most of the time, they also share similar meanings.

For instance, the following characters are all formed from the element ‘又’. From ‘又’ to ‘叕’, as the complexity increases, it could represent darker pixels.
